About Escape Atlas

Escape Atlas is a practical map for people considering a life beyond the usual path—aboard a sailboat, near a surf break, on the road, or somewhere a remote income stretches much further.

Our mission is to collect the information ordinary maps leave out: real monthly costs, free and affordable anchoring, campsites, marinas, jobs, internet quality, visa information, and the local communities that make a place livable rather than merely visitable.

The Atlas grows through credited contributions. When someone shares a useful location, their name and profile can travel with that knowledge so discovery stays connected to the people who made it possible.
